inside the luxury office and residential complex Garitage Park in Sofia’s business district, this café offers not only good coffee and freshly baked croissants but also tasty and healthy homemade food in a welcoming and cozy ambience that’s perfect for business meetings and some quality leisure time. \r\nIn Spanish, \"Duende\" means \"Mountain Elf, Pixie.\" This definition provided inspiration for the main accent in the interior design - a graphic representation of flowers in an enlarged scale that \"transforms\" every visitor into a small mountain spirit. Using the height of the room, we realized this idea by using hand-drawn wall murals arranged throughout the wall.\r\n The overall design intent was to reconcile the client's main request for an open kitchen with the compact size of the double height site. To accomplish this, we spread the new interior across two levels: the ground floor serves as a public area and the partial second floor is repurposed for an office area. The open kitchen and the bar were placed in the middle thus becoming the heart of the space and allowing guests to observe the preparation of food and drinks.\r\nThe floor finishes combine concrete tiles marking the main walking line, hexagon terracotta tiles shaping the seating area and patterned tiles enhancing the central position of the bar and forming a “welcoming foyer carpet”. Additionally, the rather attractive terrazzo ivory tiles were used for the inner space \u002Fbar, kitchen and service premises\u002F. The fully glazed front facade charms the people passing by and lets in multiple rays of natural and pleasant light.\r\nWorking in close collaboration with the client, we created a space that looks bohemian yet impeccably detailed, finely crafted and highly functional.\r\n In collaboration with KMAN Studio.\r\n\r\nРазположен в модерния мултифункционален комплекс Garitage Park в югоизточната част на София, Duende.Eat.Real предлага не само качествено кафе и прясно изпечени кроасани, но и вкусна и здравословна домашно приготвена храна. Гостоприемната и уютна атмосфера е идеална както за бизнес срещи, така и за качествено прекарване на свободното време. \r\nВ превод от испански “Duende” означава “Горско джудже, Елф” като това определение е вдъхновението за основния акцент в интериора - графика на цветя в уголемен мащаб, които “трансформират” всеки посетител в малко горско духче. Използвайки нестандартната височината на помещението реализирахме тази идея посредством ръчно рисувани тапети, които са разположени по цялата стена.\r\nОсновната цел на интериорния проект е да съчетае основното желание на клиента за отворена кухня (show cooking) с  даденостите на вътрешното пространство, което е постигнато чрез  изграждането на частичен втори етаж. Разположен е на малка част от площта, без да „задушава” цялостната визия, докато кухнята и барът са разположени централно, позволявайки на гостите да наблюдават приготвянето на храна и напитки, като по този начин се превръща  в безпорен акцент и отличителен белег на пространството.\r\nПодовите настилки комбинират хексагонални теракотени плочки, оформящи зоната за сядане, бетонови плочки, маркиращи основната ходова линия и “килим“ от  фигурални черно бели плочки, подчертаващ централната позиция на бара.
