The goal of the project was to create a comfortable and cozy one-story villa building with a pool woven in the spirit of South American traditions with an emphasis on the contact between the living rooms and the richly landscaped yard with a pool. In terms of volume, the building is situated so that the favorable southeast is used primarily for living around the pool and the richly landscaped yard space. The building is developed on one level with one central room - a living room, divided into zones with a kitchen corner with a bar island, a dining room and upholstered furniture. Service rooms are also provided - a technical room with access from the kitchen, as well as a bathroom. All of them are located in the northwestern part of the functional scheme. Access is provided from the living room to all three bedrooms, including separate bathrooms. The bedrooms are located on both sides of the living room, with the southwest master bedroom featuring a large walk-in closet and bathroom. With a wonderful panorama of the inner courtyard and pool are two of the bedrooms, and the living room is designed with large sliding windows leading to a covered veranda touching the pool and yard, so that on warm sunny days the space remains open, creating a completely real feeling of connection between the interior space and the richly landscaped yard with pool. The visible four-pitched reinforced concrete roof conveys additional height and depth to the rooms.\r\nThe building stands out with its provocative color scheme of the facades and a thick fence over the prevailing eclectically built houses in the area. With its bright color contrasting with the richly landscaped spaces around the building and the accenting four-pitched roof with tiles iridescent in different colors gives a mystique of exoticism behind the thick fence.\r\nThe main idea for the interior of the building was to achieve a smooth connection between the external and internal space through a type of flooring flowing from the courtyard and the covered veranda into the internal space. The interior of the building is developed in a homogeneous tangle of different styles - Wabi-sabi and Bohemian. All wall coverings in the interior, including the bathrooms, are filled with plaster in pastel gray shades, conveying softness and coziness.
