Affaire en Pastel Realization

Affaire en Pastel is a project for a 3-room apartment located in the south of Sofia exposed to a marvelous mountain view. The design concept was strongly influenced by the client's constant urge to travel to faraway destinations on the one hand and on the other - by the pastel color palette cheered up with some accents but still evoking calmness and serenity so longed for by the owner. At the same time warmth and coziness is brought up with the beautiful oak texture of the floor continuing throughout the whole space; the rough natural rattan and the robust textile used in the shades, stools and other covers; the plenty of attractive lightning solutions. The flat welcomes into an airy corridor offering a comfortable place to sit, relax and change, then extends to the open space accommodating the kitchen corner, the living room and the place to work. Two more separated rooms are left for a bedroom and a guestroom. The bedroom is turned into a sanctuary where the simple bed frame is the key accompanied by the patterned wood wall behind and the two different lighting fixtures adding industrial touch to the tender feminine atmosphere of the room. The guest room's simplicity of furniture ensures that it feels spacious, while still including all necessities like wardrobes for storage, foldable sofa to sleep and relax, a corner with a rocking chair to have the time on your own and dive into the world of books. All this is perfectly pieced together and flavored with ethno-eclectic style.
